Job DescriptionJob Summary:
The Electrician Crew Leader is responsible for the installation and modification of electrical systems in new construction homes after the rough-in stage. This includes installing or replacing customer-requested wiring changes, as well as adding or removing power, switches, lighting, and other electrical components.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Aiding in installation of rough wiring or trim work for builder changes etc throughout the process of new home construction
- Ensuring all work is done in a neat and workmanlike manner and done to our customers specifications.
- Maintaining safe work environment for the crew.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Accuracy with measurements
- Ability to scale prints and properly read prints
- Ability to multitask
- Electrical knowledge to rewire existing work to current code and needs.
- Residential electrical knowledge and skillset
- Properly filling out work orders
- Reporting findings to supervisor or management.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Must have basic electrical knowledge.
- Must have basic construction safety knowledge.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds at times.
- Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, climbing ladders and digging
- Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
- Must be able to work in confined spaces and attic work.
- Must be able to use hand and power tools for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work outside in all types of weather, including high temperature and under the sun.
- Must have clean driving record.
