Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity seeks experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to provide essential support within K-12 school settings in the Orlando, FL area. These roles are contracted for the current school year, starting as soon as possible through May 27, 2026, servicing multiple campuses in Seminole County as well as select private schools. Assignments include full-time, part-time, and maternity leave coverage positions spanning elementary, middle, and high school levels.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language pathology services under the supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists.
  • Support students across K-12 in public and private school environments.
  • Collaborate with school teams to implement tailored therapy plans.
  • Manage caseloads efficiently according to scheduling and student needs.
  • Comply with all state licensure and school district guidelines.

Qualifications and experience desired:

  • Active Florida State SLPA license.
  • Bachelors degree in Speech Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or related field.
  • Proven experience working with children in school settings.
  • Ability to work onsite; remote or VOCO (virtual contract) positions are not available.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Must have supervision support from licensed SLPs.

Location:

  • Primarily servicing Seminole County Public Schools campuses, including schools in Oviedo, Sanford, and the surrounding areas.
  • Additional support at selected private schools in the broader Orlando area.
