Responsibilities

• Meet with clients (in-person or virtually) to discuss project goals, preferences, and budget.
• Create 2D/3D layouts and renderings in Chief Architect or similar design software.
• Prepare detailed material selection sheets — tile, plumbing fixtures, cabinets, and finishes.
• Work closely with project managers and coordinators to ensure design plans are executed accurately.
• Support clients with material selections from our showroom and partner vendors (MSI, Kiva Stone, etc.).
• Update plans based on customer feedback or field conditions.
• Review final designs for technical accuracy (plumbing, electrical, layout alignment).
• Communicate professionally with vendors, subcontractors, and customers.
• Maintain organized digital project files and assist in creating permit-ready drawings when needed.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in interior design, kitchen & bath design, or related field.
• Proficient with Chief Architect, AutoCAD, or similar design software.
• Strong understanding of construction layouts and spatial planning.
• Excellent communication skills — must be comfortable with customer-facing interactions.
• Detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of residential materials, fixtures, and finishes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with a general contractor or remodeling firm.
• Basic understanding of permit plans and construction processes.
• Familiarity with product sourcing, takeoffs, and design specs.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Compensation

• Base salary: $4,000–$5,000/month, depending on experience.
• Performance bonuses available for each completed project.
