Job DescriptionFacilities/Maintenance Associate

?? Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
?? Pay: $22.75/hour
?? Duration: Temp to Perm
We’re assisting a top client in hiring a Facilities/Maintenance Associate to support their daily operations at a well-established corporate site in Fort Lauderdale. This role includes a wide range of physical and administrative tasks that keep the facility running smoothly—from event setup to office moves, mail distribution, and minor repairs.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Set up/break down for meetings and events
• Move furniture and equipment between floors or buildings
• Assist with employee workstation setups and adjustments
• Support off-site events and donation deliveries
• Perform basic electrical troubleshooting (e.g., up/down desks)
• Coordinate mail and package delivery logistics
• Assemble furniture, install signage/artwork, operate scissor lift
• Support general upkeep of the facility including patios, storage areas, and common spaces
What We’re Looking For:
• Prior experience in facilities or maintenance support roles
• Comfortable with physical tasks and equipment handling
• Basic understanding of office/facility operations
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented
