Job DescriptionJob Summary/Company: Sparks Group has partnered with a dynamic healthcare company to find a qualified Pharmacy Technician to join their team in Delray Beach, FL. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, automated environment and make a positive impact on the health and wellness of pets.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately fill and process prescription orders
- Dispense prescription medications at a pick-to-light station
- Match prescription products to prescription labels
- Ensure all orders are labeled and packed neatly to preserve product integrity
- Comply with all quality standards, policies, and procedures
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and restock products
- Work closely with the pharmacist to verify and correct any prescription label concerns
- Maintain your pharmacy technician license and meet continuing education requirements
- Provide excellent service to both pet patients and their owners
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of Florida
- Minimum of 6 months of work experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Warehouse pharmacy experience preferred
- Basic computer and math skills to research orders and ensure accurate product expiration
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours per shift)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
