Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in a K-12 school setting located in Cape Coral, FL, throughout the current school year contract. The role supports students from various grade levels, with caseloads varying by school site. Positions are full-time with 37.5 hours per week, with some potential for part-time assignments.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Florida teacher certification and/or a valid state license in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certification as SLP-CCC or SLP-CF required; consideration may be given to Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) with appropriate supervision from SLPs
  • Experience working in school settings is preferred, supporting students from K-12 grades

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders
  • Provide direct speech-language pathology services to support students communication skills across multiple school locations within the district
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory and school district guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings and attend required professional development sessions
  • Manage caseloads that may vary by assigned school site

Location and Work Setting:

  • On-site work exclusively in schools located primarily in the East Zone, Lehigh Acres area, with some assignments extending as far south as Lexington Middle School near Naples

This contract position runs from early January through the end of May, providing a focused, impactful role within the school district.
