We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our urgent care clinic team. This role involves assisting with medical duties, including patient demographics collection and triaging patients based on symptoms.
Responsibilities
- Assist with medical duties in an urgent care clinic.
- Collect patient demographics.
- Triage patients based on their symptoms.
Essential Skills
- Experience with electronic medical records and health records.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Ability to take patient vitals.
- Proficiency in customer service within a healthcare environment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 1+ year experience in a fast-paced clinic.
- Medical Assistant diploma or certification preferred but not required.
- Experience working at the front desk in a healthcare setting.
Work Environment
The role is based onsite at a primary care clinic, where you will be seeing between 20 - 30 patients a day. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
