Highway Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Highway Project Manager to lead transportation infrastructure projects with a focus on quality, schedule, and budget control. This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients and plays a critical part in managing the full project lifecycle—from proposal to closeout—while ensuring successful delivery and client satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s in Civil or Transportation Engineering (preferred)

• 8+ years of highway design experience; FDOT experience is a strong plus

• Florida PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months

• 2+ years of experience as a PM or Assistant PM

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in MicroStation, ORD, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office

• Ability to manage project financials and develop scopes of services

• Valid driver's license

As a Highway PM, you'll oversee multidisciplinary design teams, coordinate with clients, subconsultants, contractors, and agencies, and lead project meetings. You’ll be responsible for preparing and reviewing technical specifications, plans, budgets, schedules, scope changes, and contract documents, as well as mentoring junior staff and supporting business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage transportation/highway projects from start to finish

• Lead internal teams and external communications with stakeholders

• Monitor progress, prepare status reports, and oversee project deliverables

• Ensure QA/QC and resolve design-related issues

• Support billing, proposals, public meetings, and client outreach

• Guide and mentor junior engineers and technical staff
