JOB TITLE: Cabana Server

JOB SUMMARY: As a Cabana Server, you will provide personalized, top-tier service to Cabana guests, ensuring every need is met. You'll take food and beverage orders, deliver items promptly, and maintain cabanas in pristine condition. You will also be responsible for ensuring all cabanas are cleaned and fully stocked at the start and end of your shift and reporting any missing or non-functional items to management immediately. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet cabana guests warmly and provide a personalized, memorable experience throughout their visit.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately, offer menu recommendations, and upsell items when appropriate.
- Deliver food and beverage orders promptly, ensuring proper presentation, temperature, and quality standards.
- Ensure all cabanas are cleaned, organized, and fully stocked at the start and end of each shift.
- Notify the Director of Food & Beverage or the Food & Beverage Supervisor immediately if any cabana item is missing, damaged, or not functional.
- Maintain cabana cleanliness, organization, and table arrangements in impeccable condition throughout the guest visit.
- Anticipate guest needs and proactively provide towels, beverages, and other amenities to enhance the experience.
- Ensure safety and compliance with park rules, health regulations, and company policies.
- Handle guest requests or concerns promptly and professionally, escalating to management as needed.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of food & beverage equipment for cabanas and events.
- Carry food and beverage trays up to 10 pounds, including navigating stairs or uneven surfaces.
- Follow all sanitation, hygiene, and allergen awareness standards at all times.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and take proactive steps to ensure cabana guests' needs are met.
- Maximize productivity during downtime by performing cleaning, restocking, and organizational tasks.
- Participate in all required training programs and adhere to company policies, procedures, and brand standards.
- Assume additional responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Experience: Food & beverage or guest service experience preferred Certification: Food Safety Certification preferred; TIPS or ServSafe Responsible Alcohol Service Certification preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age. • Ability to troubleshoot situations quickly and act accordingly. • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, evolving environment. • Must be able to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events. • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. • Proactive, goal-oriented, can-do attitude with excellent customer service skills. • Ability and willingness to upsell menu items and provide an elevated guest experience. • Team-oriented with flexibility to support other cabanas or F&B areas as needed. • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

- This position is primarily working outdoors in varied weather conditions and temperatures.
- Must be willing and able to spend the majority of the shift outside.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods while carrying food, beverages, or supplies between cabanas, kitchen, and bar.
- Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
- Regularly lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.
- Ability to safely carry food and beverage trays, including navigating stairs or uneven surfaces.
- Exposure to moderate to high noise levels from water attractions, guests, and park operations.
- Must maintain energy, alertness, and a positive guest-focused attitude while working in outdoor conditions.
