Job DescriptionThe Production Supervisor manages the day-to-day operations of the plant, ensuring that production goals are met and quality standards are maintained.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee daily production, analyze production information, and investigate when production standards are not met
  
  
• Ensure quality standards are maintained
  
  
• Develop and train manufacturing floor employees
  
  
• Oversee scheduling and material handling
  
  
• Coordinate maintenance work to minimize downtime
  
  
• Employee performance: Oversee emp Oversee performance and communicate company standards
  
  
  
  
• Establish high employee morale by showing fairness and consistency
  
  
• Solve production problems and identify opportunities for process improvement
  
  
• Report mechanical, scheduling, or personnel problems to the plant manager
  
  
  
  
• Communicate with the plant manager and other departments to ensure their needs are met
  

QUALIFICATIONS:
* High school diploma, GED, or sufficient relevant manufacturing management experience
* Organizational and leadership abilities
* Communication and interpersonal skills
* Self-motivated with a results driven approach
* Problem solving skills
