We are looking for an experienced Part Time Paralegal to join our team in West Palm Beach, Florida. This is a Contract position with the potential to transition into a permanent role based on performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation and personal injury law, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare, draft, and review legal documents such as motions, interrogatories, and discovery materials.
• Manage case files and maintain accurate records using case management software such as Clio or MyCase.
• Coordinate calendars and schedule meetings, court dates, and deadlines effectively.
• Handle e-filing and ensure compliance with court requirements.
• Assist attorneys in preparing for litigation by gathering and organizing evidence and documentation.
• Conduct legal research and summarize findings to support case strategy.
• Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders to ensure case progress.
• Monitor timelines and ensure all deadlines are met without delay.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless case management.
• Support personal injury litigation processes, including drafting correspondence and managing client files.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paralegal, preferably in litigation or personal injury law.
• Proficiency in case management software such as Clio or MyCase.
• Strong understanding of e-filing procedures and legal documentation.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple deadlines.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Familiarity with discovery processes, interrogatories, and drafting legal motions.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
This is 20-30 hours a week with the potential to go full time.
