Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Architectural Design and Construction Planning Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Boynton Beach, Florida. The ideal candidate will contribute to a wide range of architectural projects including luxury homes, church and nonprofit facilities, commercial buildings, and specialty developments. You will manage and support architectural design activities from the feasibility phase through design development and into construction administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage design development, space planning, and site plan preparation for multiple projects

  • Collaborate with clients, engineers, and consultants to ensure design objectives and timelines are met

  • Conduct zoning/code research and coordinate permitting processes with local authorities

  • Prepare detailed construction drawings, renderings, and specifications using AutoCAD or Revit

  • Oversee construction administration and site visits to ensure design integrity is maintained

  • Review submittals, respond to RFIs, and provide clarifications during the construction phase

  • Coordinate project documentation for state and local compliance

  • Contribute to thematic and sustainable design strategies when applicable

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution

  • 5+ years of professional experience in architectural design and planning

  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office; knowledge of SketchUp and rendering tools is a plus

  • Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, and zoning laws

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills

  • Florida licensure or active pursuit of licensure preferred
