Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide speech-language pathology services within K-12 school settings across multiple campuses located in Southeast Florida, including full-time and part-time opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language evaluations and therapy services for students in K-12, ranging from elementary through middle school
  • Manage caseloads independently, often as the sole SLP on-site
  • Collaborate with educational teams to support students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Conduct evaluations for private school students as part of the evaluation team (requires CCC-SLP certification)
  • Work with diverse student populations, including Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) cluster sites

Locations and Schedule:

  • Dan McCarty Middle School, Fort Pierce, FL (4 days/week)
  • Forest Grove Middle School, Fort Pierce, FL (1 day/week)
  • Oak Hammock K-8, Port St. Lucie, FL (2 days/week)
  • Private School Evaluation Team, Port St. Lucie, FL (1 day/week)
  • Schedule varies between full-time and part-time assignments depending on campus needs

Qualifications:

  • Active Florida SLP license required
  • Minimum of 0-2 years of experience, with higher pay rates offered for additional experience
  • Certified Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred for evaluation responsibilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within school teams

Duration:

  • Contract position starting ASAP through June 2, 2026
  • Evaluation team role funded until May 29, 2025
