Job Summary
The Credentialing & Licensure Specialist will be responsible for managing and overseeing all regulatory licensing and credentialing activities for pharmacy operations. This role plays a critical function in ensuring full compliance with federal and state regulations, including Board of Pharmacy requirements, DEA registrations, USP standards, and telehealth compliance obligations. The position requires strong regulatory expertise, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to independently manage high-risk compliance activities in a regulated pharmacy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage all pharmacy, DEA, and healthcare facility licensing and renewals (state and federal)
- Prepare, submit, and track Board of Pharmacy applications, renewals, inspections, and follow-ups
- Manage DEA registrations, renewals, controlled substance schedules, and DEA Form 222 compliance
- Oversee multi-state non-resident pharmacy licensing and regulatory expansion into new states
- Coordinate provider credentialing for pharmacists, physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants across multiple states
- Prepare for and respond to Board of Pharmacy inspections, NABP reviews, and regulatory audits
- Maintain accurate document libraries, audit trails, and compliance records
- Track renewal calendars, deadlines, and regulatory change requirements
- Manage change-of-ownership, relocation, and Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) filings
- Coordinate PDMP registrations, reporting requirements, and access management
- Support telehealth partner compliance onboarding and regulatory coordination
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, pharmacy, lab, IT, and leadership) to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Health Admin, Life Sciences, Business, or related)
- 3 - 7+ years of experience in Pharmacy licensing, Board of Pharmacy applications renewals ,DEA registrations (CIII–CV, 222 forms, renewals), NABP / VPP / inspection prep, Multi-state non-resident pharmacy licensing,
- Controlled substance permits ,CLIA, DME, and other healthcare facility licensing
- Deep understanding USP 795/797/800, State Board rules (PIC requirements, ownership changes, relocations), Provider credentialing (MD, NP, PA), Telehealth compliance coordination, PDMP reporting requirements
- Strong document control, audit readiness, and deadline tracking
- Experience with Excel compliance trackers, Smartsheet / Monday / Airtable / compliance CRM State portals (NABP, NPPES, DEA, PDMP portals), and Inspection response workflows

This is a full-time position, working 44 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am. to 5:30 pm.
This is a 100% onsite role; remote or hybrid work is not available.
Pay Range$65,000—$95,000 USD
