Job Description
The Light Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing a variety of routine maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the building and common areas. This position supports the overall upkeep of the property and provides prompt responses to maintenance needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform light repairs and maintenance, including but not limited to painting, patching walls, replacing light bulbs, and tightening fixtures.

Conduct routine inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs.

Assist with minor plumbing (unclogging drains, tightening fittings) and electrical work (replacing switches, outlets, or light fixtures).

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of maintenance storage areas.

Replace air filters, batteries, and other consumables as needed.

Assist in setting up for events or moving furniture and equipment.

Monitor and report the need for major repairs to the supervisor.

Respond to work orders and resident requests in a timely and professional manner.

Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols and guidelines.

Support janitorial staff as needed with general cleanliness of common areas.
Full-Time Mon-Fri 8am-4pm
Pay Rate: $22-$25 DOE
