Job Title: Staff Pharmacist (FL & Non-Resident IL License REQUIRED)
Schedule: Part-Time (1 shift per week)
Shift Length: 8 hours
Pay Rate: $68.97/hour (paid biweekly)
Setting: Mail-order pharmacy
Work Location: Onsite – Doral, FL 33122
Job Type: Temporary W2 contract assignment. 3 months to start with potential for extension based on attendance, performance, and business needs.
Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Staff Pharmacist to support operations in a high-volume pharmacy supplying diabetes equipment via mail-order.
This role is responsible for accurately reviewing, interpreting, and dispensing physician orders while ensuring compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory, and professional practice standards. The selected candidate must be able to serve as the Illinois Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) for the pharmacy.
Primary Responsibilities
- Review and accurately interpret physician orders
- Label and dispense medications accurately and completely
- Dispense orders in a timely manner while maintaining accuracy
- Review patient profiles for diagnoses, allergies, therapeutic duplications, and drug interactions
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and professional pharmacy practice standards
- Answer phone calls in a courteous and professional manner
- Maintain patient safety and quality assurance in a high-volume workflow

Licensure & Education Requirements
- Active and clear Illinois non-resident Pharmacist license (must-have)
- Active Florida Pharmacist license in good standing
- Ability to be assigned as Illinois Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC)
- Graduate of an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy or graduate of a foreign college of pharmacy
