A Grooming Shop for Guys
Job Qualifications:
Proficiency in commuication, customer service and sales skills is the required skill set for this position. This position requires a blend of organizational skills with an adept proficiency in people skills.
Candidate must be sales driven, while providing a consistent “white glove experience” to all clients, be outgoing, cheerful, engaging, energetic, resourceful, imaginative, goal oriented and believe in, promote the established culture and mission.
Specifically:
· Able to work a range of hours per week on a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays. Occasional overtime may be required
· Ability to work in a dynamic and fun shop environment
· Ability to prioritize and multi-task
· Well-developed interpersonal skills to communicate effectively to members, guests, supervisors and staff
· Strong phone skills
· Ability to read, digest and analyze various reports
· Excellent mathematical skills to accurately compute and complete required functions including credit card and cash transactions
· Strong computer knowledge
Experience in the hospitality, salon or cosmetology industry a plus.
Job Duties:
Reporting General Manager and Assistant Manager or Department Lead when GM not present
· Member Concierge’s responsibilities include offering a friendly welcome to all members/guests facilitating a smooth transition between their arrival, service and checkout
· Accomplishing sales goals by leading guests to the membership options that best meet their needs
· Assisting management and staff as needed
Specifically:
Market and Grow the Business:
· Support, assist and at times drive the sales productivity requirements as established by management
· Promote and sell memberships, services and products, including recommending upgrades, additional services and/or retail products which will enhance and improve the member/guest’s image and contribute to the member/guest’s satisfaction and experience
Provide the Exceptional Customer Experience:
· Understand the needs of member/guests; handling and resolving customer service issues to earn trust and maintain loyalty
· Give tours to new guests driving the customer experience
· Communicate to the guest a clear understanding of pricing, memberships and services
· Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with all staff members
· Maintain professional appearance and a positive attitude
Complete Required Administrative Tasks:
· Greet members/guests during check in process
· Promote and sell memberships and retail products
· Set and confirm appointments
· Perform a variety of tasks related to shop operations, including but not limited to: answering phones, stocking shelves and maintaining all systems and technology
· Ensure opening and closing procedures are followed
· Ensure the cleanliness of the shop
· Ensure information in POS system is correct and up to date
· Other duties and assignments as requested
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
