Segrera Associates is conducting a search for a very well-established and fast growing technology company in Sarasota, FL looking to hire a talented Paralegal to support and join their legal department.
This key position supports their legal team by overseeing contracts, managing insurance renewals, handling law enforcement inquiries, and assisting with a range of compliance tasks. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in legal or contract administration and a proactive, highly organized work style.
This is an fully on-site position
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full lifecycle of company contracts, including monitoring auto-renewal timelines.
- Coordinate the contract execution process by routing documents and securing required signatures.
- Maintain and update the company’s contract database, ensuring accurate and timely filing.
- Manage the renewal process for all insurance policies.
- Review and address law enforcement requests in full adherence to the Stored Communications Act.
- Carry out sanctions checks and other “KYC” activities to support business relationship compliance.
- Evaluate and respond to privacy notices and general user inquiries.
- Assist with ongoing legal initiatives and take on additional tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Paralegal certificate or related degree/certification (e.g., contract management).
- 5–10 years of relevant professional experience.
- Knowledge of OFAC & Stored Communications Act and KYC
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
