CNC Operator 2nd shift (2:00 pm to 10:00 pm)

As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines. This role plays a crucial part in our production process, ensuring precision and efficiency in the fabrication of sheet metal components.

1. Operator

1.1. Set up CNC machines according to job specifications and operational guidelines

1.2. Load raw materials and parts into the machine

1.3. Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and adherence to production schedules

1.4. Adjust machine settings to optimize efficiency and minimize waste

1.5. Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy

1.6. Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise

1.7. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the work area

1.8. Follow all safety protocols and procedures

Requirements:

1.1. Experience with a CNC router required

1.2. Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment

1.3. High school diploma or equivalent

1.4. Proficiency in interpreting mechanical drawings and blueprints

1.5. Ability to use precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)

1.6. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skill

1.7. Basic computer skills and familiarity with CNC programming is a plus

1.8. Ability to lift and move heavy materials when necessary
