We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Body Shop Detailer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring vehicles are impeccably cleaned and presented following body repairs. The ideal candidate is reliable, takes pride in their work, and understands the importance of preparing vehicles to meet high customer-ready standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform full vehicle detailing, including washing, waxing, buffing, vacuuming, and interior cleaning
- Remove dust, overspray, and debris from repaired surfaces
- Clean and dress tires and trim, ensuring all windows and mirrors are spotless
- Inspect vehicles post-repair to confirm detailing meets quality standard
- Report any imperfections or concerns to the Body Shop Manager promptly
- Safely move vehicles in and out of the detail area or delivery lanesaintain cleanliness and organization of the detail bay and equipment
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Understand and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations
- Demonstrate consistent, regular, and reliable attendance
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required)
- Prior experience in vehicle detailing or a similar role (required)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to safely operate various types of vehicles
- Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be able to work on your feet and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
