looking for a Project Manager (Div 10) to join our Palmetto, FL team with extensive experience developing, overseeing and completing projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop accurate budgets by utilizing historical data from previous projects
  • Periodically visit all pending and active projects to ensure correct field methods and total knowledge of the project.
  • Possess knowledge and understanding of assigned project folders, field package, cost control, estimating and const management systems
  • Interprets project documents, including contracts, plans, specifications and change orders
  • Oversee and track all labor on each project, whether from outside subcontracts or from internal labor sources
  • Has the knowledge to order, track, and administrate materials within clearly established policies. Includes communication with field personnel and venders to communicate stocking plans
  • Provide predetermined deliverables in a timely manner including verification of all completed work.
  • Reviews and administrates accounting tasks including invoice, requisition, and payroll approvals
  • Manage and develop team members to ensure proper growth within the organization.
  • Represent Manganaro in all aspects, especially in relation to standard site operations.
  • Maintain client relationship at the project level.

Education and Experience:

  • B.S. Degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, finance, or accounting is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in Project Management with substantial estimating background (2+ years as assistant estimator) preferred
  • MBA is a Plus

  • Assistant Project Manager: 2 years
  • Project management (Construction): 3 years

Solid PM experience from a General Contractor, especially managing multi-trade commercial projects

2. Project Management Know-How
Proven ability to manage construction projects end-to-end (budgeting, scheduling, procurement, closeout)

Comfortable juggling multiple active jobs with changing priorities

3. Blueprint & Spec Reading
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, hardware schedules, and shop drawings

Understanding of construction terminology and scopes of work

4. Strong Communication Skills
Can confidently coordinate with GCs, subcontractors, vendors, and clients

Clear, professional written and verbal communication – especially when problems pop up

5. Tech & Tools Proficiency
Familiar with Procore, Bluebeam, Excel, and maybe even ERP systems or estimating software

Comfortable with digital submittals, RFIs, tracking changes, and documentation

6. Organizational Skills
Highly detail-oriented and deadline-driven

Can manage material lead times, delivery schedules, and field coordination without letting things slip

7. Problem-Solving Ability
Quick thinker who can resolve site issues, missing hardware, change orders, or scheduling conflicts without drama

Knowledge of fire-rated, ADA-compliant, or security hardware

DHI certification (like AHC or CDC)

OSHA 30 certification
