We are seeking a skilled Service Electrician to perform service work. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and has a strong background in residential electrical systems. This role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical issues, as well as installing new systems and upgrades. Generator install/repair experience a plus!

Qualifications:

• Candidates will be required a minimum 5 years of experience in the electrical trade.

• Generac, Kohler and/or Briggs & Stratton generator experience preferred.

• CAT5/6, fiber and CCTV programming preferred but not required.

• Diagnosing and repairing faults in wiring for homes, commercial and industrial buildings.

• Must be meticulous in the applicants work and cleanliness.

• Must be able to run appropriate wire, add outlets and switches in existing buildings.

• Valid driver’s license and clean record required.

Required Skills:

1. Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
2. Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using hand tools or power tools.
3. Install, test, or maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, or fixtures, using hand tools or power tools.
4. Test electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using testing devices, such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and/or ammeters, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
5. The use of the National Electrical Code.
6. Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
7. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with N.E.C.
8. Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
9. Collaborate with dispatch and office staff to manage daily schedules.
10. Able to put a digital material list together and communicate to the office staff.
