Job Title: CMM Programmer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Metrologist/CMM Programmer to join our team and support our inspection programs. This role involves working with advanced software and engineering teams to ensure precision in our manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement inspection programs using Zeiss Calypso software from Model Based Definition and 2D drawings.
- Create and import dimensional inspection plans, transitioning most inspection plans from Excel files.
- Collaborate with engineering to analyze and interpret blueprints, models, evaluation sheets, manuals, and other materials to determine specific testing procedures and certification methods.
- Familiarize with programming processes, system, debug, coding, and facilitate necessary collaborations with Zeiss.
- Transition dimensional inspection plans from Excel to client specific software to support engineering.
- Read and understand complex mechanical drawings and 3D models.
- Work closely with the Engineering Department on related issues.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in Metrology, Calypso, and CMM.
- Experience with PiWeb, Calipers, Micrometers, Surface Gauges, and Height Gages.
Work Environment
This position requires onsite work on the production floor, measuring equipment and collaborating cross-functionally with all manufacturing teams.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jupiter, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
