CVOR Surgical Technologist Travel Assignment
Location: Fort Myers, FL

Our travel nurse staffing agency is seeking an experienced CVOR Surgical Technologist (CVOR Tech) for an exciting travel contract in Fort Myers, Florida. This is a great opportunity to expand your skills in a high-acuity cardiac surgical environment while enjoying petitive pay and full travel benefits.

Assignment Details:

Travel/contract position
13-week assignment with potential extension
Full-time schedule; shifts vary depending on facility needs
Call coverage may be required
Start date: ASAP or upon availability

Job Requirements:

Assist surgeons and OR team during cardiovascular surgical procedures
Prepare and maintain sterile surgical field
Handle instrumentation, sutures, and surgical supplies
Ensure proper functioning of surgical equipment
Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain patient safety and efficiency in the operating room

Needed Qualifications:

Certification as a Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA or NCCT) preferred
Minimum of 2 years of recent CVOR or open-heart surgical tech experience required
BLS certification required (ACLS may be required by some facilities)
Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation and sterile technique
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
