Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and motivated Data Analyst to join our growing team. The Data Analyst will play a vital role in collecting, entering, validating, and analyzing data to support our SaaS product operations and business objectives. This position requires strong technical and analytical skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will not only perform precise data entry and maintenance but also transform raw data into actionable insights that drive key business decisions. This role will collaborate closely with the development, product, and management teams to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data across multiple systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Data Entry & Data Management
- Accurately enter, update, and maintain data across various systems and platforms.
- Validate and clean large data sets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Develop, document, and enforce data entry standards and procedures.
- Perform regular data quality checks and audits to identify errors and inconsistencies.
- Maintain detailed records and logs of data activities and updates.
- Support internal teams by ensuring timely and precise data input to enhance operational workflows.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Collect and organize data from multiple sources to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics for key stakeholders.
- Analyze operational data to provide recommendations for process improvement and efficiency.
- Support SaaS product teams by ensuring data alignment between systems and business requirements.
- Track and report KPIs that measure product and business performance.
- Present analytical findings in a clear, concise, and visual manner for technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with software developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure data supports product and business goals.
- Participate in defining data requirements for new projects and system enhancements.
- Support product teams in identifying opportunities to automate manual data entry or reporting tasks.
- Provide ad-hoc data and analysis requests to support operations, marketing, and customer initiatives.
- Assist with testing and validation of data during customer onboarding, product releases and system updates.
Required Skills and Abilities
- 1+ years of experience in data analyst, data entry, or data management role.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to data integrity.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, lookups) and other data tools.
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with BI or visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for sharing findings across teams.
- Familiarity with SaaS platforms and Agile/Scrum environments preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or data entry.
