Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
We are a patient-centered dental practice seeking an experienced Expanded Functions Dental Assistant who brings positive energy, confidence, and a genuine love for patient interaction. Our ideal candidate helps create a welcoming, upbeat environment where patients feel comfortable, cared for, and confident in their treatment.
What You’ll Do
Assist the doctor during procedures with excellent chairside manner
Build trust with patients by clearly explaining procedures and easing dental anxiety
Perform expanded functions, including:
Taking intraoral scans
Placing Invisalign attachments
Cord packing for impressions and restorations
Fabricating temporary crowns, bridges
Ensure operatories are clean, stocked, and compliant with infection control standards
Coordinate with the front office to support efficient patient flow and next visits
Contribute to a positive, high-energy, team-focused clinical environment

Qualifications
RDA with Expanded Functions certification
2+ years of dental assisting experience
Proficiency with intraoral scanner (iTero)
Strong knowledge of restorative and cosmetic procedures
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Dentrix Ascend experience NEEDED
