SUMMARY:The Patient Service Coordinator works as part of the administrative and medical office team performing those clerical and administrative duties necessary for patients who are a part of Florida Breast & Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program (FBCCEDP).

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalence
  • Graduate from an approved Medical Assistant Program which identifies both clinical and classroom instruction sufficient to meet state requirements, preferred
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a medical facility and/or related customer service field.
  • Demonstrated experience working effectively with culturally diversified groups
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer knowledge in Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Ability to interface effectively with members of culturally and professionally diverse staff.
