Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring at least two years of recent Cath Lab experience, Level I trauma skills, and a current FL or compact state RN license.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Position is in a hospital-based Cath Lab
- Responsible for cardiac catheterization procedures including diagnostic and interventional cases
- Level I trauma experience required
- Day shifts: 4x10 hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- On-call required for both weekdays and weekends
- Must be able to circulate; scrub experience is preferred
- Uses Epic EMR system
- Primary responsibilities include circulating cardiac procedures and providing sedation monitoring
- Must be prepared to re-take the dysrhythmia exam and achieve requisite scores if initial requirements are not met
- Study guides and online orientation materials are provided prior to start
- Facility maintains a smoke-free environment
- First-time travelers and local candidates within a 60-mile radius are considered

- Active FL or compact RN license in hand
- Minimum two years of recent consecutive Cath Lab experience in a US hospital required within the last 24 months
- Must have experience in administration and monitoring of procedural sedation, right and left heart cath, interventional cath, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, and pulmonary artery/Swan Ganz line monitoring
- ACLS and BLS certifications required via the American Heart Association
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- Degree from an accredited institution or a school approved by FBON
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must provide proof of vaccination status prior to consideration
- Passing an EKG/dysrhythmia exam is required prior to starting
