Job Summary:
The Director of Quality Assurance (QA) is responsible for overseeing quality and audit functions for wound care services provided within ReNew Management. This role ensures adherence to wound care and nursing home regulations, tracks and trends audit results, and leads initiatives to improve quality patient care. The Director manages a team and auditors reviewing patient charts and works closely with the Regional Director of Clinical Operations (RDCO's), Providers, and Leadership to drive positive clinical and operational outcomes.
This position reports directly to the Sr. Director of Clinical Support.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and oversee a team and auditors responsible for chart reviews and documentation compliance monitoring.
- Develop reports to guide auditors efficiency and regulatory knowledge.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous quality improvement.
Quality Assurance & Regulatory Compliance
- Implement and enforce policies and procedures to maintain regulatory compliance.
- Stay updated on changing regulations and communicate updates to relevant teams.
- Conduct internal audits, identify gaps, and oversee corrective action plans.
Tracking & Trending Audit Results
- Track, analyze, and trend audit findings to identify patterns in clinical and documentation performance.
- Provide data-driven insights to leadership to improve clinical and operational outcomes.
- Develop dashboards and reports to visualize quality metrics and compliance trends.
- Coordinate audit findings with RDCOs to ensure alignment with clinical practices and operational goals.
Process Improvement & Risk Management
- Collaborate with RDCOs and providers to address quality issues identified in audits.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives based on data trends to enhance patient outcomes.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to patient safety, documentation accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
Coordination & Reporting with RFCs
- Work closely with RDCOs to share audit insights and align quality improvement efforts.
- Provide customized reports and analysis to RDCOs to help improve regional performance.
- Ensure RFCs have access to real-time audit data to make informed clinical and operational decisions.
