We are seeking a Construction Project Manager to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.
Responsibilities:
A construction project manager oversees a project's entire lifecycle, from planning to completion, ensuring it stays on time, within budget, and meets quality standards. Their duties include coordinating with stakeholders like clients, architects, and engineers; managing resources and subcontractors; and ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Must have experience managing commercial Class A office space build-out projects
- Defining project goals, creating detailed plans, and setting timelines
- Developing and managing project budgets, ordering necessary materials and equipment, and allocating resources effectively.
- Liaising with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors; overseeing their work; and providing progress reports.
- Monitoring construction progress, ensuring work meets quality and safety standards, and resolving on-site issues.
- Identifying and mitigating risks, managing change orders, and ensuring all work complies with building codes and regulations.
- Preparing and reviewing bids and negotiating and managing subcontractor contracts.
- Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
- Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
Qualifications:
- Must have experience managing commercial Class A office build-out projects.
- Proficiency in project scheduling using Microsoft project or similar software
- Familiarity with construction management software
- Strong leadership qualities
- Strong negotiation skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
