Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time or part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available serving K-12 students within a vibrant Florida school setting. This is a contract position lasting the entire school year, catering to both experienced clinicians and those seeking flexible scheduling options. Multiple openings are available, providing a variety of caseload opportunities.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering comprehensive speech and language evaluations and intervention services to a diverse K-12 caseload
- Collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Providing supervision and mentorship to clinicians completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Maintaining timely and accurate documentation in compliance with school and district standards
- Participating in professional development opportunities as required
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Credentials or licensure eligible for Florida school-based practice
- Ability to supervise CFY clinicians is required
- Experience working with school-aged populations and understanding of educational speech therapy regulations
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
