Job DescriptionDescription:

Precision Healthcare Specialists is seeking a welcoming, organized, and dependable Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors. As a key member of our administrative team, you will play a vital role in creating a positive experience by providing exceptional customer service, efficiently managing front office operations, and supporting clinical staff with administrative tasks.


Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check in patients, families, and vendors with professionalism and a warm demeanor.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments while managing provider calendars.
  • Verify insurance information, collect co-pays, and process patient payments.
  • Maintain and update patient records in the EMR system.
  • Answer phone calls, address inquiries, and route messages to the appropriate staff.
  • Assist with new patient registration, ensuring all required documentation is completed.
  • Coordinate referrals and obtain necessary authorizations as needed.
  • Collecting payments.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient front office area.
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.


Schedule:

  • M-F 8am-4:30pm

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional medical office training preferred.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of medical office or front desk experience preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in EMR and scheduling software (Epic, Athena, etc.).
    • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
    • Knowledge of insurance verification and medical terminology is a plus.
    • Bi-lingual is a plus.
