Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Behavior Specialist with BCBA certification is needed for a contract position serving K-12 schools in the Fort Myers and Naples area of Florida. This role supports various school sites within the district, including elementary and high school settings, with an emphasis on behavioral intervention and autism support.
Responsibilities:
- Implement applied behavior analysis (ABA) strategies and interventions based on individual student needs
- Conduct assessments and develop behavior intervention plans for students across K-12 grades
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to monitor progress and adjust plans accordingly
- Provide supervision and training for staff working in specialized classrooms, including IBI2 autism programs
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
Qualifications:
- Active BCBA licensure required
- Extensive experience with behavioral interventions in educational settings
- Ability to manage varying caseloads across multiple school sites effectively
- Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to providing high-quality, individualized support for students with behavioral challenges
Location: Fort Myers and Naples, FL (On-site only; no remote work option)

- End Date: May 28, 2026
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week, full-time
- School assignments may vary between Lake Park Elementary and Barron Collier High School
