Overview
Our client is seeking a Florida-licensed Medical Doctor (MD) to serve as Medical Director for an established outpatient practice with a psychiatric focus. This position is primarily administrative and supervisory in nature and is designed for a physician who meets Florida Medical Director requirements and has demonstrated experience or exposure in psychiatry.
Nurse Practitioners function independently and bill under their own credentials following an onboarding period. The Medical Director provides required oversight during onboarding and fulfills ongoing supervisory and compliance responsibilities as required by Florida regulations.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as the designated Medical Director of record

Provide physician oversight during the initial onboarding period for new Nurse Practitioners (approximately four weeks)

Ensure clinical oversight aligns with psychiatric standards of care

Maintain compliance with Florida medical and regulatory requirements

Be available for consultation on psychiatric matters as required

Maintain an active, unrestricted Florida medical license

Required Qualifications
