A critical care nursing opportunity is available in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at a prominent healthcare facility in Pompano Beach, FL. This contract role requires a Registered Nurse with specialized NICU skills and experience in acute care settings. Responsibilities include:

• Providing comprehensive nursing care to NICU patients, ensuring adherence to treatment protocols and patient safety standards
• Operating and managing advanced respiratory equipment, including High Frequency Ventilators such as Jet and Oscillator
• Floating to Adult Level III NICU when needed, demonstrating flexibility and competence across age groups
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including directors, RRTs, and physicians to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation utilizing the Meditech electronic medical record system

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Current RN licensure with a minimum of 2 years acute hospital respiratory therapy (RRT) experience preferred
• Certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRPthese are mandatory for consideration
• Ability to deliver critical, compassionate care in a dynamic NICU setting, with strong teamwork and communication skills
• Familiarity with stroke education and Meditech system is a plus
