We're hiring a Manufacturing Supervisor for a growing client in Fort Lauderdale, FL! This is a DIRECT HIRE/permanent job opportunity - you will be hired on directly with the company!!
The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a manufacturing plant or production line. This role involves managing personnel, ensuring production goals are met, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The supervisor will report to the Plant or Production Manager and will be responsible for a team of production operators and technicians.
Responsibilities

Supervise and Lead a Production Team: Oversee and manage a team of manufacturing employees, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.

Ensure Production Goals Are Met: Monitor production schedules, workflow, and output to ensure products are manufactured on time and according to quality standards.

Maintain a Safe Work Environment: Enforce all safety regulations and company policies. Conduct regular safety checks, address potential hazards, and lead safety training sessions.

Troubleshoot and Problem-Solve: Identify and resolve issues that may arise during the production process, such as equipment malfunctions or quality control problems.

Report on Performance: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production volume, efficiency, and waste.

Manage Resources: Optimize the use of equipment, materials, and labor to maximize productivity and minimize costs.

Collaborate with Other Departments: Work closely with quality control, maintenance, and logistics teams to ensure smooth and coordinated operations.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

At least 3 years of proven experience in a manufacturing or production supervisory role.

Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and quality control standards.

Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to troubleshoot problems and make data-driven decisions.

Familiarity with manufacturing software and tools.
