Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist in various legal matters, providing support to senior attorneys, managing cases, and representing clients in legal proceedings. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in case preparation and legal research for litigation cases
- Draft legal documents including motions, pleadings, and contracts
- Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and negotiations
- Manage a caseload, ensuring timely progress and compliance with deadlines
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases and provide litigation support
- Conduct client meetings to gather information and provide legal advice
- Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance in all legal matters
- Engage in dispute resolution processes, including mediation and arbitration
- Prepare for trial by organizing evidence and developing case strategies
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active state bar membership
- 2+ years of experience in a law firm setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of Contract Law, Litigation, and Regulatory Compliance
- Excellent negotiation and legal writing skills
- Proficient in case management and litigation support
- Experience in Client Representation and Dispute Resolution
- Familiarity with various areas of law including Criminal, Family, Corporate, Intellectual Property, Real Estate, Employment, and Tax Law
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
