Job Summary:
We are seeking a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Maintenance Parts Coordinator to manage spare parts inventory and support maintenance operations in a manufacturing environment. This role requires daily communication in both English and Spanish with maintenance teams, vendors, and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage spare parts inventory, including receiving, storage, and distribution.
- Track inventory levels and place orders to prevent stock-outs.
- Coordinate closely with the Maintenance Planner and Maintenance Manager to support preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Communicate daily in English and Spanish with maintenance personnel, vendors, and internal teams regarding parts availability and orders.
- Monitor backorders and follow up with vendors as needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry systems.
- Pick, pack, and deliver parts to maintenance personnel as needed.
- Process returns, surplus parts, and warranty shipments.
- Assist with inventory counts and audits.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe parts room.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bilingual English/Spanish REQUIRED – must be able to speak, read, and write in both languages.
- Minimum 2 years of administrative and data entry experience.
- Mechanical or electrical knowledge preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing or maintenance environments preferred (cGMP a plus).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and use a ladder or stool as needed.
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing and warehouse environment.
- Exposure to noise, dust, wet areas, and high-traffic workspaces.
