Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Investments Associate (2–10 years of relevant experience) to join our growing team. This role offers significant exposure to the full investment lifecycle — from sourcing and underwriting through execution and portfolio management. The Associate will work directly with senior team members on acquisitions and development opportunities, gaining hands-on experience and contributing meaningfully to Shoreham’s growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Build detailed financial models, valuations, and sensitivity analyses for acquisitions and development projects
• Support the due diligence processes, including comparable properties analysis, market research, legal documentation and all aspects of deal execution
• Draft and deliver investment memoranda and presentations to investment committee, capital partners, and lenders
• Monitor asset and portfolio performance, including budgets, construction progress, and operational performance indicators
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with brokers, lenders, and operating partners
• Conduct macro and micro market research, analyzing trends that impact real estate investment decisions
Qualifications
• 2–5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, real estate investment, or a related field
• Advanced proficiency in Excel with strong financial modeling and analytical skills. Knowledge of and experience with Argus, Costar and other relevant real estate platforms a plus.
• Solid understanding of real estate valuation, capital markets, and investment principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and demonstrated
• Outstanding work ethic and attitude a must
• Bachelor’s degree required (advanced degree or professional designation a plus)
