What You'll Do:
- Master complex blueprints and assemble intricate sheet metal projects with precision.
- Engage in the setup and operation of essential machines for cutting and shaping metals.
- Perform skilled MIG welding on a variety of steel types in varying conditions and spaces.
- Bring creativity to the table by innovating ways to minimize material waste.
- Excel in confined settings including tanks and small spaces without a hint of claustrophobia.
Must-Have Skills:
- Completed High School or equivalent educational background; further technical education is advantageous.
- Five years of hands-on experience with sheet metal spanning various thicknesses and materials.
- Strong analytical mind for math and print reading.
- Independence and self-motivation, with a team-oriented mindset.

ADA Requirements:
Very Heavy Work: Exerting more than 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or more than 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or more than 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Incumbents may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, vibrations, fumes, odors, dusts, gases, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, workspace restrictions, intense noises, and travel. The facility is not air conditioned. Incumbents must be able to weld in tight spaces, 18 inch circumference.
• Concentrated mental and/or visual attention. The work involves performing complex tasks to very close accuracy and quality specifications, or a high degree of hand and eye coordination for sustained periods.
• Compliance with company attendance standards.
Proficiency Requirements:
- Mastery of mechanical troubleshooting and assembly techniques.
- Expertise in welding setups ready for production.
- Strong grasp of blueprint interpretation and application.
Tools and Technologies:
- MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Cored Arc Welders.
