Universal Electrical Service, Inc. (UES) is currently hiring an experienced commercial Estimator/Project Manager with 5-10 years in team leadership, estimating and project management experience within electrical construction projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to serve as the second-in-command at a growing expansion location, working closely with senior leadership to establish and scale operations in a relatively new market. This is a career-building opportunity for someone who’s ready to step into a leadership path with long-term growth potential.
Based in Sanford, FL – easy commute from Orlando, Lake Mary, Almonte Springs, and surrounding areas. Candidates are encouraged to apply ASAP as we have an immediate need and are currently interviewing. If you have experience in the following, we would like to hear from you:
Requirements
· Management and team lead experience in electrical contracting and bid negotiating
· Experience using automated / electronic software for electrical project estimating (Accubid)
· Experience in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints required
· Familiarity with updated NEC codes and experienced in complying with OHSA safety requirements and regulations
· Computer literate and experience using MS Office suite of products
· Getting the best out of people - professional appearance and excellent customer service skills
· Up to 15% travel time on-site at customer locations
