Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in South Florida, offering opportunities to work with children aged 2 to 18 in an outpatient clinic setting. This role is ideal for professionals holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology and experience in pediatric and school-based environments.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing individualized speech therapy sessions, focusing on a variety of language and communication challenges such as pragmatics, receptive and expressive language delays, reading and writing difficulties, articulation, and high-functioning autism.
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop tailored treatment plans.
- Collaborating with education teams by attending Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to advocate for student needs.
- Managing caseload independently, with no group therapy and no medically fragile patients.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold an SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience in pediatric outpatient or school settings preferred.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent.
- Skilled in supporting children with mild to moderate speech and language disorders.
- Ability to work collaboratively with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams.
Location:This position is based in the Homestead, FL area, serving a K-12 school-aged population within a pediatric outpatient clinic.
