We are currently seeking a seasoned Litigation Attorney specializing in Labor & Employment to join our dynamic legal team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of labor and employment litigation matters. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on complex and high-stakes labor and employment cases, providing direct counsel to clients and representing them in federal and state courts, arbitrations, and administrative tribunals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of labor and employment laws, excellent litigation skills, and a passion for advocating for clients’ rights.
Responsibilities:
1. Represent clients in a wide range of labor and employment disputes, including wrongful termination, employment discrimination, wage and hour violations, and non-compete agreements.
2. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to advise clients on their rights and obligations under applicable labor and employment laws.
3. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
4. Develop litigation strategies and present cases in court or before administrative tribunals.
5. Advise clients on compliance with federal, state, and local labor and employment laws to prevent potential legal disputes.
6. Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure effective and efficient case management.
7. Stay updated on changes in labor and employment laws and regulations, and educate clients and colleagues on these changes.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in labor and employment litigation.
3. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
4. Proven track record of successfully representing clients in labor and employment disputes.
5. Exceptional legal research, analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
6. Ability to manage multiple cases and projects simultaneously, while meeting tight deadlines.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients and colleagues.
8. High ethical standards and professional integrity.
9. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
10. Proficient in legal research tools and software.
