At Five Rivers IT, we build and service reliable IT infrastructures for midsized businesses. Five Rivers IT has been growing at a consistent rate of 30% a year for the last 3 years. We are in search for an IT Field Technician to join the dynamic team of professionals providing world class IT services to its clients in the Tampa – St. Petersburg FL area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting various technical functions and assisting with ensuring the efficient operation of our systems.
Work location: Tampa – St. Petersburg area, FL

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive technical support for end users, including troubleshooting, maintenance, repair of equipment, and more.

Performing server and network troubleshooting remotely and on site

Assist in the installation and configuration of systems and technology
-
Maintain accurate records of service requests, installations, repairs, and document, follow and update SOP’s.

Managing servers and network equipment
-
Provide training and guidance to staff on the use and maintenance of technical solutions.

Work on projects and tasks assigned in a timely manner
-
Be available for off hours on-call rotation.

On-site visits to client site as needed
Qualifications:
-
Education: A degree or diploma in a relevant technical field is preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical support role.

Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in using technical equipment and software.

Flexibility: Ability to work onsite and adapt to various technical challenges.

Multifunctional: Capability to handle multiple technical responsibilities simultaneously.
