Lead Superintendent
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in multi-family projects in South Florida. This role provides overall leadership for on-site field administration, supervision and technical management for a construction operations, including but not limited to direct supervision of foremen, trades, subcontractors, and other construction-related personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise construction teams on multi-family and commercial projects.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
- Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards, including OSHA regulations.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior superintendents and construction staff.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Lead Superintendent in multi-family, and commercial construction.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and project management methodologies.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards.
- Proficient in construction management software, including Procore.
- Excellent scheduling and organizational skills.
- Experience as a Senior Superintendent is highly desirable.
