Job Overview:

A leading importer and distributor of premium and exotic fruits is seeking an experienced Retail Program Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day execution of major retail programs. This is a high-impact role responsible for coordinating across departments including purchasing, logistics, operations, and sales support to ensure alignment, performance, and successful delivery to key retail partners.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in produce and/or consumer packaged goods (CPG), thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is highly organized with excellent follow-through.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Execution & Coordination

  • Review inventory vs. orders daily to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment
  • Identify shortages and coordinate repack needs in real time
  • Collaborate with sourcing and purchasing to align supply and demand
  • Troubleshoot issues impacting delivery, quality, or customer expectations

Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Act as liaison between sales support, purchasing, logistics, and warehouse teams
  • Track packaging needs across domestic and international sources
  • Monitor warehouse performance and escalate concerns when needed
  • Maintain and follow up on issue logs to ensure resolution

Retail Program Management

  • Track program status daily and proactively manage changes, claims, or inventory surpluses
  • Ensure communication with clients is timely and accurate through sales support teams

Reporting & Support to Leadership

  • Prepare dashboards, summaries, and updates for executive leadership
  • Support weekly pricing meetings and planning activities
  • Collaborate with internal analytics teams on forecasts and sales trend analysis

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in produce, food service, or retail supply chain operations
  • Strong coordination experience across multiple departments
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Advanced Excel skills; comfortable working with data
  • ERP system experience preferred (Famous, NetSuite, QuickBooks, etc.)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required
