Pay: $20 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Full-Time

We are seeking a reliable, self-motivated Warehouse Maintenance Technician / Handyperson to handle day-to-day upkeep, cleanliness, and minor repairs at our new refrigerated warehouse facility. This role is essential to maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient operation while keeping the facility in like-new condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general facility maintenance: light repairs, patching, painting, minor carpentry, and basic plumbing
• Maintain floors, walls, doors, curbs, lighting, and safety markings
• Operate and maintain industrial floor scrubber to keep warehouse floors clean and sanitary
• Maintain loading dock areas, exterior grounds, and dock equipment
• Ensure restrooms and common areas are clean, functional, and stocked
• Inspect and maintain cooler/freezer doors, seals, and strip curtains; remove minor ice buildup
• Serve as on-site contact for refrigeration contractors and report system issues
• Keep company vehicles clean and coordinate weekly fleet washing
• Maintain daily maintenance logs and manage supplies and tools
• Follow safety protocols and report hazards or major repair needs

Qualifications

• Experience as a maintenance technician, handyperson, or similar role (cold storage experience a plus)
• Skilled in general repairs, basic plumbing, and operating motorized cleaning equipment
• Valid driver’s license required
• Forklift or scissor lift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in cold environments
