Job SummaryWe are seeking a Mill Machinist to join our team! As a Machinist, you will be working with multiple CNC machines and production equipment as needed. You will also be maintaining your equipment as needed, assisting other machinists with larger tasks, and maintaining a safe work environment. The ideal candidate has exceptional attention to detail, previous experience in a job shop manufacturing environment, and the ability to work well with others and minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Read blueprints or job orders.
- Program and setup and troubleshoot customer jobs
- Inspect products per print, and make necessary adjustments to ensure compliance to print
- Conduct basic preventive maintenance on equipment in your care
- Maintain orderly housekeeping and a safe work environment.
- On-time and consistent attendance
Qualifications
- 5 years plus experience as a machinist is a job shop production environment.
- 5 years plus experience in setting up and troubleshooting precision machining jobs
- The ability to read and inspect parts per blueprints
- Experience in using precision measuring tools and equipment to take accurate measurements
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to multitask.
- Strong analytical skills
