Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking an experienced Probate Attorney to join our client's growing Trusts & Estates practice.

  • The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience handling probate matters from start to finish, including contested and uncontested proceedings, trust administration, and estate planning.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of probate and trust administration matters from intake through resolution

  • Draft, review, and file all necessary court documents, including petitions, inventories, accountings, and closing statements

  • Represent clients in probate hearings, mediations, and contested matters

  • Advise fiduciaries and beneficiaries on probate and trust administration procedures

  • Prepare estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney

  • Coordinate with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals to ensure seamless estate administration

  • Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and updates

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

  • Member in good standing with The Florida Bar

  • Minimum of 5 + years’ experience in probate law and trust administration

  • Strong drafting, research, and advocacy skills

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills

  • Ability to manage multiple matters and meet court deadlines

  • Strong interpersonal and client communication skills

Preferred

  • Experience with contested probate litigation

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
