Job Title: Nursery Technician | Reports to: Cultivation Manager | Location: Homestead, FL 33030 (Redlands)
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the cloning and propagation of cannabis plants through techniques such as cutting, grafting, or seeding.

Assist in cloning, veg plant and mother plant maintenance and care.

Monitor the health of cannabis plants, identifying and addressing issues related to pests, diseases, nutrient deficiencies, or environmental conditions promptly.

Ensure genetic consistency among propagated plants to maintain strain characteristics and quality.

Maintain appropriate environmental conditions, including temperature, humidity, light, and ventilation, to optimize plant propagation and growth.

Assist in nutrient mixing and watering schedules to provide plants with the necessary nutrition and hydration.

Carefully transplant cannabis clones or seedlings into appropriate growing mediums or containers.

Maintain accurate records of plant quantities, stages, and locations, and coordinate with inventory management to track plant movement.

Maintain a clean and organized nursery area, following sanitation protocols to prevent contamination.

Adhere to all local and state regulations governing cannabis cultivation, including record-keeping and reporting requirements.

Keep accurate records of nursery activities for regulatory compliance and internal reporting.

Participate in training sessions to learn and understand proper propagation techniques, safety protocols, and compliance requirements.

Stay updated on industry best practices and new propagation techniques to enhance productivity and plant health.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job (sit, stand, kneel, bend, etc.) for extended periods of time.

Other tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
-
Previous experience in horticulture, agriculture, or a related field is preferred.

Basic knowledge of cannabis propagation techniques or a willingness to learn.

Attention to detail and precision in propagation tasks.

Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work in a regulated environment.

Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
